Rob C and Martin D

Rob C.... Good looking, highly experienced radio control flyer. Martin D.... 40'ish, middle age spread kicking in. Motto "You build it, i'll fly it" UPDATE - Martin prob 50s and gone AWOL

Carbon Blade 2m

The carbon Blade was my first full composite glider. Very versatile, good size, went like the clappers!

Looked really good too, i bought this one direct from x-models Marco was very friendly and the glider arrived prompt!Fitted out with hi-tec wing servos, which i now despise! cant remember what was in the fuz!Incidentally very thin Fuz, a bitch to work on! There is also a ballast tube in there!

This colour combination looks good, however due to its relatively small size, and speed, it was a bastard to keep your eyes on! Always go for contrasting colours... i will!

Single piece wing, immensely strong... but 2 meters long

Metal plate made from a baked bean can held it all in place. I had a lot of problems with reception on this model, got well pissed off with it. Bought a new Fuz, after destroying the first and then sold it.

Pretty little thing, No wipers (the bits that look neat on ailerons and flaps) Sold this one on Ebay, think it went to the Isle of Man! All in all a good entry model into composite gliders. Also very compact flew in all winds... not sure you can still get them?
